Philippine Community in Hannover

Maria Faustina Kowalska, commonly known as Saint Faustina, born Helenka Kowalska (August 25, 1905, near Lodz, Poland then in the Russian Empire – Died October 5, 1938, Kraków, Poland) was a Polish nun, mystic and visionary. She is venerated in the Roman Catholic Church as a saint, and is known as the Apostle of Divine Mercy.

The Philippine Community is a catholic community. They meet regularly for Divine Mercy Prayers and holy mass. The mass is usually in Tagalog and English.

The community is encouraged to share their blessings and resources to the many least fortunate people in the Philippines- the poor children, dilapidated schools, needy parishes, orphans and street children, etc. But the most concrete support is currently asked by Seminarians and Seminaries in the Philippines. Young men who would like to become priest someday have asked support for their board and loading and tuition fee. At the moment we are suporting 2 seminarians in the Immaculate Conception Seminary in Guiguinto, Bulacan, Phil.
